Practical Autism is a website of resources put together to help other people on the Autistic Spectrum.
This site has been designed specifically for adults.
It is brand new, and
will always be a 'work-in-progress' as I am always looking for your own tips
that make life easier so I can add them to this website for others to benefit
too.

Clearly there are two specific groups that might find these resources useful:
People ON the autistic spectrum themselves, and
Those that care for someone else on the autistic spectrum
This website has been split into the two distinct groups for ease of use.
This website does not set out to explain autism, or how it effects different people.
But what you will find here are practical tips, useful
document downloads and some helpful story accounts.
- All designed to help make an autistic persons life a little bit easier.

identical The main difference is that the two sections are written exclusively with each group in mind. This makes understanding much easier, and it also eliminates the problem of personal pronoun usage. |
