Thanks.
This section of the website is all about trying to provide YOU with even better information on how to deal with issues that might affect the person you are caring for.
Clearly not everyone acts or behaves in the same way, and so it is with each individual person with autism - So not everything on this website will be totally relevant to you.
For ease of use, "the person to whom you provide care, or look after" will throughout be simplified to the term 'the person'.
The menu above will now appear on every page in this section.
Eye Contact - Tips for better eye contact
At Home - Things that might annoy or upset the person in the home setting
Holidays - Useful practical tips to make trips away less stressful
Panic Attacks - Useful guidance and tips for trying to control them
Relationships - Guidance on how you both can come to a better understanding
Social Events - Tips to help make them less stressful
The 'Autism Alert' card
Back to Homepage - This takes you
back to the very first page
In addition, you might also like to check out this page, which gives you some examples of things NOT to say to someone with autism.
